We have certified Speech-Language Pathologists and Educational Diagnosticians on staff, collaborating with School Psychologists and Licensed Professional Counselors to provide a holistic approach to every client.

Speech Therapy
Our therapy sessions consist of a 30-45 minute direct interaction with the patient, followed by a 10-minute review of observations, progress, and recommendations for the caregiver. Our treatment approach is tailored to address predetermined areas of weakness that are identified through an initial evaluation. Our team of therapists is highly trained in a variety of methods to address the speech goals of each patient effectively.
Evaluations
Our assessment process involves a combination of structured and standardized testing, as well as clinical observations, to thoroughly evaluate your patient's speech and language abilities. Depending on your patient's needs, our testing may include assessing their articulation skills, expressive and receptive language, word finding, language processing, critical thinking, written language abilities, and social language skills.
Educational Therapy
Educational therapists provide a consultation with the parent and child to better understand the area of improvement. We develop intervention plans and use assessments to track progress to address academic skills like reading, spelling, and math to help develop critical thinking. To involve the child in the intervention process, we work with them individually to help them create personal goals to target other key skills needed for lifelong learning.
Counseling
By collaborating with licensed professional counselors, Kiner Speech services offers a more holistic and comprehensive approach to supporting clients. The counselors may help clients explore and address any emotional or psychological barriers that may be affecting their speech and communication. This collaboration involves a coordinated treatment plan to ensure that both the speech and emotional aspects are addressed effectively.
